I just got a call from Elizabeth. Her platelet count was way down, so they said they want to induce her. I'm running out the door now, and will try to post something when I learn more. But it might be a day or two. Wish us luck!

I have to tell you that after the shower Cara couldn't understand why we where calling Elizabeth by her full name when we call Beth "Bethy". So I explained to her that, that is her name and some people go by differant nick names, well she said that Elizabeth is just too long and we need to start calling her Bethy because thats easier to say. I thaught you may get a kick out of that. Well good luck and your in our prayers and thaughts.

Posted by: Brian at March 4, 2004 03:41 PMFunny you should say that, Brian, esp. since I'd just posted an update from the hospital right before reading your comment -- but I posted using a boring old dialup instead of wireless. In theory I have the capability to do a 'wireless' net connection. I brought the Bluetooth adapter for Elizabeth's laptop, and I can in theory use that with my Sony Ericsson T610 cell phone and T-Mobile's wireless access. In fact, I can use such a set up from my desktop at home (although it's not necessary with the DSL). But for some stupid reason, it won't fully work with Elizabeth's laptop. I get a connection, and partial connections to websites seem to be made, but nothing ever completes. I haven't tried major debugging, but nothing I've found so far can explain the difference.
Anyway, having a dialup connection is good enough, for now. Maybe in a couple years, for the next child, we'll have a real-time wireless webcam of the entire delivery. :-) Or maybe Elizabeth will veto that idea...
