This is an open notice to people living in the Boston metropolitan area (ie. New England)

In the event of the million-to-one shot that the Red Sox should beat the Yankees tonight:

1. It is advised that before this event takes place all windows and doors are boarded up.

2. Contact your insurance company to make sure that your car, home, and life insurance covers damage/injury resulting from a rampage by an army souped up on Sam Adams carrying baseball bats.

3. Women and children should be kept indoors, if it is not possible to move them out of major population centers.

4. Only men carrying firearms, and preferably in groups larger than ten be permitted to guard their homes.

5. Large or vicious dogs (german shepards, pit bulls, chihuahuas on stimulants) are strongly suggested to help keep guard.

6. People wearing black and white, wearing pinstripes, or talking with a New York accent are strongly urged to go to the closest New York consulate to seek shelter from the rampaging mob.

I wish Bostonians the best of luck in wethering the storm which likely won't come, but just might.
