More Than Their Sum

Elizabeth sent me this story from the Seattle PI. As Dorothy would say: "uh---oohh". :-O

UPDATE: No, this does NOT mean we're expecting our second. We're planning on having another child some day, and are interested in people's opinions on how difficult the 2nd one is.

Depends on the kid and/or circumstances?

The last one (either third or sixth depending on how you tally 'em up) has been the easiest yet. Of course, I'm older, more settled financially, and while not any smarter than I was back then I have more experience. All of this helps.

Which might not mean much if Kid2 is determained to be Beelzebub.

I agree...it depends on the kids and the circumstances. Although the 2nd is quite different from the first, I found the addition relatively easy. When the first thinks he is the "father" to the second and pays alot of attention to him, this keeps both of them distracted while parents are doing something else (for a minute or two at least). They can entertain each other as they get older and have a built-in friend/comrade.
